Lisa brings a unique quality to the therapeutic relationship. Lisa has worked as a school social worker for the past 15 years. Lisa graduated from the University of Michigan with her Masters of Social Work degree and School Social Work Certification. Lisa now brings her expertise to the private practice sector where she works with school-aged children from ages 5 to 18-years-old. Lisa helps children/youth set goals and objectives for success in different areas of mental health including; social skills, empathy, manners, attention deficit hyperactivity, anger management, anxiety, depression, bereavement/grief, loss and self-esteem. Lisa uses different techniques including; teaching Mindfulness and Coping Skills along with Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Positive Behavior Therapy. Lisa’s philosophy is building a therapeutic relationship based on trust and rapport that are essential. Everyone has a story and Lisa looks forward to hearing yours.
